We spent the day together because we had become, as Penny calls it, golfing mates!

Take Off On Golf Training camps began in 1998 with the Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council in Phoenix, Arizona.  Penny Pulz, LPGA retired tour player and now LPGA teaching professional has developed and implements these training camps. Each year new Girl Scout golfers come to camp and each year girls return to camp.  Many repeat two, three times and one Girl Scout has been to golf camp 4 times.  We wanted a day to play golf, talk about golf, train on the driving range and enjoy each other.

At Take Off On Golf Training Camp:   girl scout golf camp

Three Days of Golf Training: 

Full Swing, Pitch, Chip, Putt, On Course Education, Bunker, Digital Video Swing Training at Full Swing, Etiquette and Rules, Evening Programs

Fourth Day:

9 Hole Scramble Event, with adult mentors
Prizes, Luncheon and good-byes

 

Spend your days on the golf course; learning about full swing, chipping, putting and on-course play. Learn rules and etiquette of golf. Housed at Willow Springs, transported to the golf course daily.

• training with computer digital video analysis
• golf equipment is available
• beginners and all level of golfers participate
• your own VHS golf training tape 
• your own golf training workbook
• last day of golf is a 9-hole scramble event
