Girl Scouts - Girls' High School Golf Program

Get yourself ready; we want "YOU" on the team in 2003

Train to become a high school team golfer. Train to get ready for try outs, train to lower your scores, commit yourself to be a winner. This is an on-going golf program designed to take your golf skill to a level that allows you to enjoy being a golfer

• Attainable goals for girls participating in this High School Golf Program

• If your current golf scores are low 100's  - your goal: Improve to score in the high 80's.
• If your current golf scores are low 80's   - your goal: Improve to score in the high 70's.
• If your current golf scores are low 70's   - your goal: Improve to score in the high 70's

• How do you attain your goal?

• Team training time commitment with Coach Penny.

  -  5 months, twice a month training sessions.
  -  3 hours per session, 9:30 .m. to 13:30 p.m.
  -  1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.

•  Personal Practice time commitment on your own.

  -  Golf course play whenever possible.
  -  Golf driving range practice, 1 to 3 hours per week.
  -  Short game practice, 1 to 3 hours per week.
  -  After Sunday training sessions, stay for personal practice time of 1 hour to validate the day's training.
       Chat and have a good time with your Girl Scout Golf friends.

• Program Highlights:

• Range balls and on course play on team training Saturdays
• Targeted individual training
• Video progressive training guide and workbook
• Competitive practice

• Training begins January 2003, continues through February, March, April and May.
• Cost, $500 inclusive
• Team training facility is at Falcon Dunes Golf Course, 15100 W. Northern Ave. (1 1/2 miles west of Litchfield Rd), Waddell, AZ.
• Ages 12 and up.
• Minimum 10 to run program, 12 maximum participating.
• Registration deadline for training is December 20, 2002.
